CRID will perform a São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Molecular Basis of Inflammatory Diseases.

The Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases (CRID) will perform, with support from FAPESP, a São Paulo School of Advanced Science (ESPCA) with the theme “Molecular Basis of Inflammatory Diseases”, adressing the most relevant and current topics on inflammation and inflammatory diseases. The School will take place between November 4th - 14th, 2019, at the JP Resort & Convention Hotel in Ribeirão Preto/SP.

The primary goal of the School is to provide an in-depth look at the latest in basic and applied research on inflammation, focusing on the molecular aspects that are fundamental to the discovery of new targets, which in turn serve as the basis for the development of new medicines and therapies.

The School will bring up experts, prominent researchers in the field of inflammatory diseases from Brazil and abroad, as well as students from around the world who will focus on advancing the frontier of knowledge and presenting the latest research in the field.

For this edition, 80 young researchers will be selected (doctoral, postdoctoral and young researchers), 40 foreign and 40 Brazilian candidates. All school-related expenses (travel, accommodation and meals) will be borne by FAPESP for selected young researchers, except students currently receiving a FAPESP Scholarship or Research Supplement
